Local History Group
The group meets on Thursday once a month at the Leisure Centre
Seminar Room in Hillsborough Park.
(Approach from Hawksley Ave) New
members are always very welcome.
The picture shows the group on an evening field trip to Hillsborough
Barracks with Ron Clayton, a local historian (right) and below at
Mousehole Forge, Malin Bridge with Julia Hatfield who together with her
husband John restored the manager’s house, now their home and
stabilised the ruins.
